1. Who We Are

Nubric LLC ("we," "our," "us") operates the HourMark mobile application. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information. You can reach us at info@nubric.dev.

2. Information We Collect

Account Information

When you sign in with Google or Apple, we receive your email address and display name from your authentication provider. This is used solely to create and secure your account.

Data You Enter

HourMark stores contractor names, addresses, hourly rates, pay amounts, job names, and work entries that you enter into the app. This data is synced to Google Firebase so it is available across your devices.

Tax Identification Numbers (TINs/SSNs/EINs)

TINs are stored only on your device using encrypted secure storage (iOS Keychain / Android Keystore). They are never uploaded to our servers or Firebase. TINs are masked in all exports and print views.

Analytics Data

We collect anonymous usage data through Firebase Analytics to understand how the app is used and improve it. This includes:

• Which screens are viewed
• Which features are used (e.g., logging entries, exporting reports)
• App version and platform (iOS, Android, or web)
• Device type and operating system version

Analytics data does not include any personal information, contractor names, financial amounts, tax IDs, or any data you enter into the app.

Feedback

If you choose to submit feedback through the app, we collect:

• Your message (up to 500 characters)
• An optional star rating
• Your platform and app version
• Your anonymous user ID

Subscription and Purchase Information

HourMark offers optional paid subscriptions ("HourMark Pro") through the Apple App Store. When you subscribe:

• Your payment is processed by Apple. We never see, receive, or store your credit card or payment details.
• We use RevenueCat as our subscription management provider. RevenueCat receives the anonymous App Store transaction, your anonymous user ID, and subscription status (active / expired / trial) in order to unlock Pro features across your devices.
• We do not receive your name, email, address, or payment method from the App Store purchase.
• RevenueCat's privacy practices are described at revenuecat.com/privacy.

3. How We Use Your Information

• App functionality — To store and sync your contractor and pay tracking data
• Analytics — To understand feature usage and improve the app
• Feedback — To respond to user suggestions and fix issues

We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or marketing. We do not sell or share your data with third parties.

4. Tracking Disclosure

We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app tracking technologies. Our analytics are anonymous, aggregated, and used solely to improve the app.

5. Third-Party Services

HourMark uses the following third-party services:

• Google Firebase — Authentication, Firestore database, and Analytics. See Google Privacy Policy.
• Apple Sign-In (when available) — See Apple Privacy Policy.
• Apple App Store (In-App Purchases) — Processes HourMark Pro subscription payments. See Apple Privacy Policy.
• RevenueCat — Manages subscription entitlements and syncs Pro status across devices. See RevenueCat Privacy Policy.

These services process data as described in their respective privacy policies.

6. Data Processing Location

Your data is stored and processed on Google Firebase servers located in the United States. By using the app, you consent to the transfer and processing of your data in the United States.

7. Data Security

• All data in transit is encrypted via HTTPS/TLS
• TINs are encrypted at rest using platform secure storage
• Firestore access is restricted so each user can only access their own data
• We do not store passwords — authentication is handled by Google/Apple

8. Data Retention and Deletion

• Your data is retained as long as your account is active
• You can delete your account and all associated data at any time from Settings → Delete Account
• Deletion removes all data from Firebase and clears local storage
• Local-only mode users can delete all data from Settings → Delete All Local Data

9. Children's Privacy

HourMark is not intended for children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance.
