Where We Grow

Nubric LLC ("Nubric," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Where We Grow mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we handle information when you use our App.
The short version: Where We Grow does not require an account. We do not collect your name, email, or any personal identifier. Your favorites and saved data live only on your device.
Where We Grow has no sign-in, no user accounts, and no profile system. We do not collect your name, email address, phone number, or any other personal contact information.
Location Data. With your permission, we use your device's approximate location to show you crops growing near you. Location data is processed in real-time and sent to the USDA CropScape service to retrieve crop data for your area. We do not store a history of your locations on any server. You can deny location access and the App remains fully usable — you can search by city instead.
Anonymous Usage Analytics. We collect anonymous, aggregated usage events such as which screens you view, which crops you tap, and which map layers you toggle. This data is associated with a random anonymous identifier generated on your device the first time the App runs — it is not tied to your name, email, Apple ID, Google account, or any other identity.
Feedback You Choose to Submit. If you submit feedback through the App's "Send Feedback" form, we store the message text and star rating you provided, along with a timestamp. We do not collect your name or email when you submit feedback.
On-Device Storage. Your favorite crops, viewed-crop counters, and cached crop and market data are stored locally on your device. They never leave your device. You can clear all of this from the About tab inside the App.
We do not track you across other companies' apps or websites. We do not use Apple's advertising identifier (IDFA) or any cross-app tracking technologies. Our analytics are anonymous, aggregated, and used solely to improve the App.
Anonymous feedback submissions are stored in Google Firebase Firestore using industry-standard encryption in transit and at rest. Anonymous analytics events are stored in Google Analytics. All other data — including your favorites, viewed-crop counters, and cached map data — is stored only on your device and never transmitted.
The limited anonymous data we do collect is processed on Google servers in the United States. By using the App, you consent to this processing.
We do not sell, trade, or rent any information to third parties. We may share information only with your explicit consent, to comply with legal obligations, or to protect our rights, privacy, safety, or property.
Because Where We Grow does not require an account and does not collect personal identifiers, there is nothing on our servers tied to you specifically. You can:
The App is not directed to children under 13 and does not knowingly collect personal information from children. The App contains no social features and no user-to-user communication.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you by posting the new policy and updating the effective date.
