Effective: May 1, 2026
By downloading, installing, or using Where We Grow, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
Where We Grow is an educational application that uses publicly available USDA data and curated content to show users information about crops growing in the United States. The App is provided for informational and educational purposes only.
You may use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes. You agree not to:
Where We Grow does not require an account to use. There is no sign-in, no profile, and no user identifier collected. Your favorites and saved data live only on your device. See the Privacy Policy for details on what data the App does and does not collect.
The App, including its design, text, graphics, and curated content, is owned by Nubric LLC and protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
Crop data from the USDA CropScape Cropland Data Layer is public domain. Farmers market and on-farm market data is provided by the USDA Local Food Portal. Recipe data is provided by TheMealDB under their terms. Festival and story content is original or attributed to its sources.
THE APP IS PROVIDED "AS IS" AND "AS AVAILABLE" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND. We do not warrant that the App will be uninterrupted or error-free, that crop data will be accurate or current, that location-based results will be precise, or that the App will meet your specific requirements.
Crop identification data is derived from satellite imagery and may not reflect current field conditions. Do not rely on this App for agricultural, financial, or land-use decisions.
TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, NUBRIC LLC SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE APP. Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid for the App (which is zero for free users).
The App relies on third-party services including Google Firebase (server-side API proxies and anonymous analytics), USDA CropScape, USDA Local Food Portal, OpenStreetMap Nominatim (geocoding for city search), and TheMealDB (recipes). We are not responsible for their availability, accuracy, or practices. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms.
The App requests access to your device location to provide location-relevant crop data. You may deny this permission, in which case the App remains fully usable through in-app city search.
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted within the App with an updated effective date.
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Arizona. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Arizona.
